Description
A Situational Awareness project is designed to support Abnormal Situation Management (ASM) for operators. It can be used to create an Aveva Plant SCADA (Citect) project that provides accurate information to an operator in a way that can be perceived and acted upon quickly, without overwhelming their cognitive abilities. The Citect SCADA 2018 R2 Workspace training focuses on what a Situational Awareness Projects is and how to utilize its features to design projects.

- Technical users who maintain and improve their installed Citect SCADA and control systems

Prerequisites
Knowledge of the following tools, features, and technologies is required:
- It is essential that students are familiar with Microsoft® Windows operating system
- It is also recommended that students have attended a Citect SCADA Configuration course or have at least six months experience in Citect SCADA design
- It is beneficial if students are familiar with Situational Awareness principles and guidelines
